Information on Dispute Resolution Procedure:
BH&W declares its willingness to participate in alternative dispute resolution with consumers in accordance with the VSBG with regard to disputes concerning the legal consultancy relationship.
According to this, the consumer within the meaning of § 13 BGB (German Civil Code) (consumer) is entitled to call the consumer arbitration board within the meaning of the VSBG for the purpose of conducting an arbitration procedure if the consumer has addressed his complaint to the company prior to that. If no more than two months have passed since the disputed claim was asserted against BH&W and BH&W has neither acknowledged nor rejected the disputed claim during this time, BH&W may have the conciliation proceedings suspended for the remaining two months. The referral to the consumer arbitration board shall suspend the statutory limitation pursuant to Section 204 (1) n°4 German Civil Code (BGB). The right of the parties to appeal to the courts or to request another procedure shall remain unaffected.
